I went to this amazing antique flea market held in a parking garage on 24th between 6th and 7th today, and I bought the most amazing straw bowler hat from the 1950's! I've been hating my wardrobe lately, so buying this hat instantly spruced things up.

The other day my bff Peyton was rummaging through her mom's closet and found all of these hats that her mom wore in the 80's and 90's that are now back in style. I love those discoveries!

I <3 the Union Jack

Why are the British so much cooler? I will proudly wear their country's flag, but wouldn't be caught dead wearing mine. Maybe it's their absolutely charming accents of which I frequently try to replicate (One British guy I met said that I have a "Posh" British accent, and I don't think he was referring to chic Victoria).

 On my frequent visits to the one and only U.S. TopShop, I am constantly tempted to buy purses, shirts, and wallets, with the British flag. 

Here I'm wearing the shirt TopShop handed out if you bought over $100 on opening day.

I've been looking for wedge platforms, and I was shopping in SoHo today and found THESE at LF.

Are these not the most beautiful shoes? In 50 years, these will be vintage museum worthy.

I am in love with leather shorts. I've been looking around online for some under like $30 because I am dirt broke, but no luck. Mixing the whole retro-craze this summer with high-waisted leather shorts would look so hot. Pin-up girl with a motorcycle! As soon as I get a new digital camera AND purchase a pair of leather shorts, I will post it...

If you have some money to spend, these are fire.

The other night we went to this awesome underground club. It was dark, cave-like, and each room was better than the next---great music too! My friend took a picture of us in this hallway that was flooded with rainbow light...cool huh?

The fashion ROCKS in this UK movie, "The Edge of Love", starring my bitches sienna and keira. It's a love story set in WWII, and when the two girls move to the dutch country side they wear these amazing outfits of just loose floral dresses, hats, baggy sweaters, and folded wellies with socks...so hoooottttt. This has been the perfect uniform for the past couple of weeks in NYC, which have been disgustingly rainy.
